System Dynamics to Rescue in Difficult Times

Hi, this is Sushil Bajpai. I am also a learner. I learn best, when I share what I am learning or think I have learned. People have in past called me a teacher.

I am at present stuck in a lock-down in France. So would many of you, in whichever part of the world. I have all the time. I thought learning together might be good use of our time.

The schools are closed, so are most offices. Just like you, your parents, teachers,and  friends are likely home.

We spend much time looking at television. Watching news often makes us anxious. The numbers change with rapidity that is difficult to understand. The advise dished out by the experts changes the every other day. Everyone appears to have an expert opinion on the Covid-19. What should be done at individual level or that of the government; what should one eat; which medicines would overcome the possible illness. There is news of doom and gloom. In such a situation what should we do?

The situations such as these, are also a stark reminder that there is something amiss about what and how we learn. All the facts and figures that we memorised over the years fail to provide the answers we seek. Is there a better way?

We don't know! However, there is a different way, which could help us understand and appreciate our world in a different light. 

This program is brought to you to bridge this gap. The teachers and facilitators will offer their time and effort as a public service.

We will use Stella Software. While you attend the courses you would have free access to Professional Stella Online. Should you wish to continue your learnings off-line Stella Professional would also be available at very special student price.

We will create a unique e-mail for you with our domain which, we will use to communicate with you and which you will use to login to access the Stella Software. You shall have this email for the duration of the course plus six months.
